The molecular phenotypes - Integration of “OMICS”–levels in cattle and pigs CP coordinator: Prof. Eckhard Wolf, Gene Centre LMU Munich Aims: - Establishing an integrated technology platform for the molecular phenotyping of relevant target tissue in cattle and pig,
- Development of new molecular phenotypes for diverse characteristic complexes (reproductive performance,
metabolism, meat and milk yield, behaviour, disease resistance), - Charaterisation of the differentially expression of these phenotypes in diverse animal population,
- Identification of relevant molecular networks for the relative characteristic complexes and derivative of
biosignatures for the genotype-phenotype-depiction (in co-operation with CP1). |
