In total, 19 different working groups of 7 German universities, two extra-universitarian research institutions, the computing center of German breeding associations and breeding practice are involved in this network until now. Intensive cooperation between the Fakulty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, University Rostock, the Friedrich-Löffler-Institute (FLI) Insel Riems and the Leibniz Institute for Farm Animal Biology, FBN Dummerstorf establishes a steady local network.
