On behalf of the Federal Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF) we would like to invite you to the 2nd status seminar of the PHENOMICS network. This year’s seminar will be followed by the workshop “Biosignatures in Farm Animal Breeding”. Seminar and workshop take place on March 18th and 19th, 2014, in Hotel Neptun, Rostock-Warnemünde, Germany.
On the first day, members of the collaborative projects “Integration of the ‘OMICS’-levels” (CP3 coordinator Prof Dr Eckhard Wolf), “Validation of the new phenotypes” (CP4 coordinator Prof Dr Klaus Wimmers) and “Implementation of the new phenotypes” (CP5 coordinator Prof Dr Georg Thaller) present their current results. This day is restricted to the members of the PHENOMICS network, the Scientific Board and representatives of the Federal Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF), the Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Consumer Protection, the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture and the Projektträger Jülich (PtJ). On the 2nd day, an open workshop on “Biosignatures in Farm Animal Breeding” takes place for the consortium, interested PhD students and guests.
Please, register for seminar and workshop on http://www.phaenomics.auf.uni-rostock.de/de-registrierungsformular.html (also available in English).
Deadline for registration is March 3rd, 2014. We are looking forward to an interesting meeting with you. |
